Natural Bridge, Virginia

I lived in Virginia for nearly a decade, collectively, with many of those years spent in Charlottesville, a town just 80 miles northeast of an attraction that always caught my attention when I saw the billboards along route 81 advertising it: Natural Bridge. And yet I managed to never pay it a visit until December 2019 as I made my way back to New Orleans after spending the holidays in Virginia. It was a beautiful day and a truly majestic sight– well worth the $8 admission. Also, the trail and visitor’s center are dog friendly.
