Flagstaff marked the end of my journey along Route 66– from there I cut south to Yuma, and ultimately Los Algodones, per the recommendation of that cowboy back in Tucumcari.
It was a cool, laidback place to rest my head for a few nights, first at the Budget Host Inn, and then, on account of the lack of hot water and general hospitality at the Budget Host Inn, a good old fashioned Motel 6 (with what proved to be a highly skatable parking lot).
Highlights included the chilaquiles at MartAnne’s and a stroll with Ollie around Buffalo Park, with a slight excursion along the AZ Trail that’s accessible from the park.
