While our time in Germany would include a stop at the proper Oktoberfest in Münich, I succeeded in convincing the gang to spend a few days in Stuttgart as well to check out their smaller but similar Volksfest. We had a cool AirBnb (with a view earned by hundreds of hillside stairs) in the Feuerbach area and were able to spend a bit of time at the Kunstmuseum and in downtown Stuttgart before checking out the fest.
